At 5,400 K it achieves a brightness of
1000 Lux / 1m, while at 3,200 K the brightness is 700 Lux / 1m.

The light
density is kept relatively low through the use of a 70mm x 140mm light panel.
The wide lighting angle and the optionally insertable diffusion gel permit achieving
a very even lighting.

If a manual
adjustment of the brightness should be necessary, the light can be switched to
a manual mode and the brightness can be adjusted via two integrated
controllers.

The
nonlinear control curve of the LED is linearized inside the lamp and mimics the
characteristics of a conventional incandescent light. Internally, the lamp is
working with ca. 4000 brightness levels – as a result, it permits changes in
the brightness while in „ON“ mode, without any noticable jumps in brightness
during the adjustment.

A
DMX-Controller decodes the control signal that is sent to the lamp via the
transmitter. A controller can be connected with up to 4 different lamps, which
can then be controlled independently of each other through a total of 8 DMX
channels.

Every lamp
uses the data from two DMX channels to adjust each of the two color
temperatures independently from 0-100%. This way, the light designer has
complete control over both brightness and color temperature.

The DMX
starting adress is set at the controller.

The wireless
signal transmission uses frequencies in the 2,4 GHz range, which are also used
by WLAN technology – however, it is not in fact using WLAN technology.

Through the
ability to switch frequencies and the creation of groups within a frequency,
several systems can be operated in parallel.

Power is
supplied through an attachable power cable with a voltage of 12-24 volts. The
required current at maximal usage of both color temperatures is about 1200 mA.

To make it easier to set up the device, the received
DMX data, signal reception strength and the supply voltage of the lamp are
shown on the controller. Moreover, the status of the lamp (manual / remote) is
shown in the controller display. Through
the use of a test button, the lamp can be reached via wireless signal even
without the presence of a DMX signal. A valid DMX signal is also indicated in
the controller display.

Camera head lamp with integrated wireless signal receiver, and weighing only 350 grams.
